find the hacker, hipster, and hustler
Led a team of 4 students
As instructed by IDEO, the teachers recruited students who they thought represented three different archetypes: hacker (tech-savvy), hipster (visually-savvy), and hustler (business-savvy).
During the Makeathon, I guided a four-person student team through the following design thinking activities:
• reviewing and discussing the design brief
• brainstorming a How Might We statement
• creating a user persona
• voting on a design solution
I used my facilitation skills to mold the group dynamics, ensuring that each student was heard and that they were all contributing to the Makeathon within their interests and wheelhouse.
