In working with the developers, I heard first-hand about technology constraints and was able to work towards design solutions early on to address our needs.

For example, we couldn't incorporate large pop-up modals to describe careers and industries more in-depth throughout the application. As a work-around, an internal PIC team created a companion website to help students better understand the job opportunities available to them. With my input, the website was created by staff who could take ownership of the website and update it regularly.
